Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Panelet macOS app and this website. By downloading or using Panelet, or by purchasing a license, you agree to them. They are meant to be read — short, plain, and matched to what the app actually does.

The product

Panelet is a native macOS utility that arranges the windows of the apps you already use into visual workspaces. It requires macOS 13 or later and the macOS Accessibility permission, which you grant in System Settings. Panelet does not read your app contents, record your screen, or embed other apps.

Free trial

Panelet includes a 7-day free trial with full functionality and no payment details required. The trial exists so you can make sure Panelet works for you — on your Mac, with your apps — before you pay anything. When the trial ends, continued use requires a license.

Your license

A Panelet license is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and activate Panelet on up to 3 Macs that you own or control. Once activated, the app works offline. You are buying a license to use the software; ownership of the software itself remains with Panelet.

Purchases and payment

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and merchant of record. Your payment is subject to Lemon Squeezy’s own terms and privacy policy, and any taxes they apply at checkout. Prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD); where the site shows an equivalent in another currency, it is approximate and the AUD amount at checkout is what applies. Prices may change over time, and promotional discounts are temporary — neither affects a license you have already bought.

Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable. The free trial is full-featured precisely so you can evaluate Panelet before buying. If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate purchase — contact us and we will sort it out.

What you may not do

Updates

Your license includes free updates. Panelet is actively developed, so features may be added, changed, or removed over time, and future versions may have different system requirements. Updates are offered through the app’s built-in updater and are always your choice to install.

No warranty

Panelet is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to make Panelet reliable, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every app or every future version of macOS.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Panelet’s total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as lost data or lost profits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

If you materially breach these terms — for example, by redistributing license keys or circumventing license validation — your license terminates. You may stop using Panelet at any time; the sections on warranties and liability survive.

Privacy

How Panelet handles permissions and data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: your workspace configuration stays on your Mac.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use Panelet after a change means you accept the updated terms.
