Privacy Policy

Panelet is a native macOS utility that arranges the windows of the apps you already use. We keep things simple: Panelet works on your Mac, and we collect as little as possible. This policy explains what that means.

What Panelet does

Panelet uses the macOS Accessibility permission to move, resize, show, and hide your app windows so it can arrange them into a two-app visual workspace. This permission is required for the app to function and is granted by you in macOS System Settings.

What Panelet does not do

Your data

Your workspace configuration (which apps you pair and how you arrange them) is stored locally on your Mac. Panelet does not upload your workspace configuration to us or to any third party.

License validation

Panelet offers a 7-day free trial and unlocks with a license key. To verify a license, the app may contact Lemon Squeezy, our payment and licensing provider. Information you provide during purchase (such as your email address and payment details) is handled by Lemon Squeezy under their own privacy policy. We do not store your payment details.

App updates

Future versions of the app may check an update feed so we can let you know when a new version is available. Such a check involves a standard network request and does not include your workspace configuration.

Email support

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include in your message (for example, your email address and whatever you write). We use it only to respond to you.

Website analytics

This website may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. Analytics is used for website usage only and is separate from the Panelet macOS app, which itself includes no analytics or tracking.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
